An unspeakable crime has been committed. The victim is Ashley Cabin ten years old. The only suspect is Michael Cabin her adopted brother fourteen and terrified. After one long and harrowing evening in the interrogation room, Homicide Detectives Conrad Bremen and Frank Janetty believe that they know the truth about Mikey’s role in his sister’s fate. But the unexpected appearance of a witness who knows more than he should casts doubts on the results of the investigation.
